Runners will enjoy photo-worthy views of the Verrazano Bridge as they run along a 5K route that let’s them take in stunning sights of a natural creek teeming with wildlife that Coney Island is less known for. You may see a hungry egret using its long beak to search for fish below or a beautiful white swan hovering on top. As runners navigate the 5K course, they will see a mysterious partially-submerged yellow submarine in the creek that is reminiscent of that playful Beatles tune.
